• 1. Job Summary

  We are looking for a skilled and passionate Bakery Chef to prepare cakes, pastries, brownies, cookies and other bakery products while maintaining the quality, taste, freshness and presentation standards of The Chocolate Room.

  2. Key Responsibilities

  ·        Prepare cakes, pastries, brownies, cookies and other bakery products.

  ·        Follow standard recipes, measurements and baking procedures.

  ·        Handle ovens, mixers and other bakery equipment safely.

  ·        Maintain product quality, freshness, taste and presentation.

  ·        Prepare chocolate-based desserts and bakery items.

  ·        Monitor raw materials, stock levels and ingredient expiry dates.

  ·        Minimize wastage and maintain portion control.

  ·        Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area.

  ·        Follow food safety standards and company SOPs.

  ·        Coordinate with kitchen staff and store management.

  3. Educational Qualifications

  ·        Diploma or certificate in Bakery, Patisserie or Hotel Management preferred.

  ·        Candidates with relevant practical bakery experience may also apply.

  4. Required Skills

  ·        Knowledge of baking techniques and bakery operations.

  ·        Experience in cakes, pastries and chocolate desserts.

  ·        Understanding of ingredient measurements and recipe consistency.

  ·        Time management and attention to detail.

  ·        Teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
